The new WaterScape program was launched on September 1, 2020, following the completion of WaterScape III, which ran from February through the end of August 2020. WaterScape III began with the release of both a full Discussion Document Feb 2020 and a slide deck summarizing that document – WS III Webinar Backgrounder Spring 2020.  

WaterScape III staged 6 community discussions with more than 165 participants, who informed a final report called WS III Summary Recommendations and Next Steps.

The mission of the new WaterScape program (no roman numerals) is to facilitate community discussion on the recommendations and implement the next steps from the WaterScape III report, working for enhanced protection for Ontario’s biodiversity, resilient landscapes, and healthy waters.
